The last batch I chucked away had some Uniross Batteries in it. The Uniross folks have an email address so I can contact them easily.
Here’s their contact info

Hello Jenna,
I’ve recently been in contact with my local council regarding the disposal of the batteries I use at home.
They told me that I am able to simply put them in my domestic rubbish if it’s not many. I am concerned by this advice.
The last batch I chucked out had 4 AA Uniross batteries in that had become damaged. Can you advise me if it is safe to just chuck these out with the normal household waste?
Many thanks
Simon Warrick
